Excellent goals from the Fish on Saturday. I thought when watching on Saturday that Kane’s was the standout goal but after viewing the Youtube clips the two scored in the second half were different grade.
Both played out from the back – two superb team goals.
First was a good goal as well – fantastic cross and to be fair to ‘goal snatcher’ Richie Monan I think the defender would have cleared it if he wasn’t in the way to shield it !
Well done all – finished campaign on a good note – enjoy the summer and see you all next season !

Sorry I missed it, bit too far to take the little ‘un.

I agree – it’s been a decent season, though I guess it promised a bit more at one stage. But importantly the club continues to be viable, has an excellent community focus, and has some excellent supporters who make Saturday’s a pleasure!

I wasn’t expecting a win before heading off but how wrong I was!

Everything just seemed to go our way from the get go and non stop singing from the Fisher support as always, complimented by a fantastic performance

More of the same for the last game against Sevenoaks and it should be a happy ending to a decent season!

Yes ref and linesman had poor games. The sending off was mad, we didn’t realise in the shed it was two yellow cards – we thought Billy must have been booked earlier in the game. If not then pure madness – Bill only said the goal was offside, no raised voice, swearing or name calling – absolute joke and we should appeal the decision.

I thought on balance of play 2-2 was probably a fair reflection. We bossed the second half but first half, and especially the first half hour we were out-fought, out played and it looked like it could be a very bad day for us. Credit to the players for raising their game but can’t afford another slow start on Saturday – VCD showed us what can happen if you’re not on your game right from the first whistle.

Lets get the performance right and let Herne Bay know they’re in for a game on Saturday.

C’MON THE FISH!!!

I am currently looking for a team, I have played to a good level in UK and Portugal, I am 31 year old goalkeeper I am currently not connected to a club but am trying to keep myself fit to the best of my ability. I haven’t played for 4 years due to a back injury but feel that it has healed enough to play.

Yes a much improved 2nd half from the Fish although at 2-0 in the 1st half we started to look good, but then they broke away and scored the 3rd, but I thought we bossed the 2nd half with some good play , Danny Hunt needs help up front and you can see he looks frustrated up their, Havnt been to watch the Fish for a few weeks but enjoyed the match even though we lost , the vocal support from the Fisher faithful was fantastic as always , very impressed with Dixon, & Aromona, and Richie Monan played really well. Who’s this former fan’s favorite?????

Signs of encouragement for the Fish, though VCD’s start was sensational and we never really had a chance of getting anything from the game after that. Good to see a real threat down each flank in the 2nd half, and hopefully we can turn possession into goals against Lordswood on Saturday (fuel crisis permitting…)
